Tanya began her personal training journey in a CrossFit gym after experiencing firsthand the benefits of working with a coach. She is a passionate trainer who brings a lot of energy to both group and one-on-one training sessions. Tanya understands that everyone is unique, so she focuses on you and encourages correct form and good technique to help you move well, not just in the gym but in your daily lives.
She has worked with clients from 12 to 72 years old and developed a reputation as the go-to coach for injury prevention and rehabilitation, working closely with physiotherapists and other health professionals to build a holistic approach to training.
Utilising previous work experience as a nanny, Tanya knows how to motivate and support even the most reluctant individuals through encouragement and positivity. Always eager to learn, Tanya enjoys exploring new skills and training methods to better support clients of all ages, abilities, and injury histories.
Maria Ulberg
Evans Bay
Maria has been immersed in health and fitness from a young age, building a strong foundation in movement, strength training, and overall wellbeing. With a background in science, she developed a holistic approach to training through balancing academic demands with physical and mental performance, shaping her focus on sustainable habits, recovery, and long-term health.
As a qualified Level 4 Personal Trainer, she delivers evidence-based, results-driven programming for both in-person and online clients. She has experience leading group fitness sessions and tailoring individual programmes to suit different goals, lifestyles, and training backgrounds. Her coaching philosophy focuses on building strength, confidence, and resilience both physically and mentally.
She is continuing her professional development with plans to study Nutrition and complete a Master in Female Health and Fitness Programming certificate, reflecting her commitment to specialised, evidence-based coaching for women’s health and performance. Alongside coaching, she applies the same principles to her own training as she works towards her first bodybuilding show, maintaining a balanced approach that prioritises performance, cardiovascular health, and overall wellbeing.
She is passionate about creating a supportive and empowering environment where clients feel confident, capable, and strong; helping them move better, train smarter, and achieve sustainable results that enhance their quality of life.
